Three new infections related to Vesterålen

As the municipalities no longer send out messages as local infections, the figures are taken from the Reporting System for Infectious Diseases, which is also reproduced by VG.

The overview shows that three new infected people were registered on Sunday, two in Hadsel and one in Sortland.

When the infected are registered in the statistics in their registered municipality, there may be cases where an infected person resides in a municipality other than a Vesterål municipality.

According to VG’s statistics, eight municipalities in Nordland registered a new infection on Sunday, with a total of 13 new infections in the county. The municipalities with the most new cases of infection are Narvik (5), Hadsel (2) and Bodø (1).

In the last two weeks, 86 cases of infection have been registered in Vesterålen: Hadsel (40), Sortland (16), Andøy (15), Øksnes (12), Bø (2) and Lødingen (1).
