TORONTO – Canadian police are investigating the theft of two truckloads of butter worth an estimated $200,000.
Ontario Police Department reports that two truck tractors were stolen from a truck factory in Trenton, Ontario, by a total of four suspects around 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 26.
The trucks were then used to steal two truck trailers of butter from a distribution center.
The trailers were found empty in Toronto on December 27.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
Police said the suspects were being dropped off near the truck factory at the time of the alleged theft by someone driving a black SUV.
