UAE: A woman was arrested for leaving a child in an NGO office after she had an illegal affair. Police found the woman, an Arab, within five hours of finding the baby. Sharjah police found the woman. The wife abandoned her two-month-old baby. The woman left the baby in front of the office of a volunteer organization in the Emirate.

The woman abandoned the baby and ran away, a security guard guarding the building blindfolded. The baby was found around 5am. The Sharjah CID informant checked the baby’s health first. Authorities rushed the baby to the hospital with an ambulance.

Police later intensified their search to find the woman who abandoned the baby and drowned. They gathered information about the girl and went to her place of residence and arrested her. Police Chief Sharjah Major Saif Assamzi said the woman acted without men. The news was reported by Arab media. He also congratulated CID officials who led a swift investigation into the incident and found the culprit.
