The net assets under management of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) rose from 497.43 billion dirhams (billion dirhams) at the end of September 2020 to 500.65 billion dirhams at the end of October 2020, registering an increase of 0.65 % and thus passing the 500 billion dirhams mark, according to the Association of Moroccan Management Companies and Investment Funds (ASFIM).
This increase is explained by the net inflows of 850 million dirhams (MDH) mainly from OCT UCITS, ASFIM reports in its monthly newsletter in October.
At the end of October 2020, Equity UCITS posted the best monthly performance with + 4.23% and money market UCITS the weakest performance with + 0.11%, notes the same source.
Regarding annual performance, OMLT UCITS recorded the best performance with + 3.55%, while Equity UCITS had the lowest performance with -10.1%, notes ASFIM, adding that the number of UCITS active at the end of October 2020 is 492.
