As a result, UEFA had to lift the sanctions and disciplinary action that was planned to be imposed on all the founders of the European Super League.
“FC Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid CF welcome today’s court decision which imposes, with immediate effect, UEFA’s obligation to rescind action taken against all founding clubs of the European Super League, including halting disciplinary proceedings against the three clubs who signed and remove the penalties and restrictions imposed on the nine founding clubs remaining for them to avoid UEFA disciplinary action,” Real Madrid said in a statement on the club’s website as reported by BolaSport.com.
