US 2-year Treasury yields rise more than 10-year bonds for the first time since 2019

US two-year Treasury yields rose more than 10-year yields for the first time since 2019 on Thursday.

The difference in the yield curve between the two-year and 10-year bonds indicates the possibility that an economic recession may be on the horizon.

The bond market phenomenon means that the two-year bond rate is now higher than the 10-year bond yield, as the 10-year Treasury yield fell to 2.331%, while the two-year Treasury yield was trading at 2.337% in late Thursday trading.
