After his father Donald Trump and the first lady Melania Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr. has now also been caught. He shouldn’t have any symptoms.
The son of the incumbent US President, Donald Trump Junior, has been infected with the corona virus, according to media reports. He had no symptoms and had quarantined himself, a spokesman said. A corona test was positive for him at the beginning of the week, reported the broadcasters CBS and CNN as well as the “New York Times” on Friday evening (local time), citing the spokesman.
The 42-year-old had actively supported his father Donald Trump in the election campaign before the vote on November 3. He had also been at a party in the White House on election night, after which media reports said several people had been infected with the corona virus, including Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows. The photos showed that almost no guest was wearing a mask.
In early October, his father Donald and the first lady, Melania Trump, had also tested positive for the virus. In contrast to his son, the president had to receive medical care.
Trump spent three days in the Walter Reed Military Hospital. He himself said: “I wasn’t doing so well.” But then suddenly he felt better than he had for a long time. The president got an experimental antibody drug and steroids, among other things. When he returned to the White House, he said one shouldn’t be afraid of the virus.
