Véronique Cloutier and Louis Morissette received an excellent monetary boost for the creation of their foundation’s very first house this week!
As you know, the first building of the Véro and Louis Foundation will house autistic adults aged 21 and over and meet their needs in addition to allowing them to be constantly supervised. Such a project would be impossible without the financial assistance of valuable donors.
The famous couple shared the good news on Instagram:
« The opening of the first house of the Véro & Louis Foundation would never have been made possible without the help of major donors like Desjardins. We are immensely grateful that Desjardins has decided to support the Foundation. This house will have a definite impact on the quality of life of these residents living with an ASD and will allow dozens of families to catch their breath and no longer worry about the future of their child. On their behalf and on behalf of the Foundation, we sincerely thank you for this donation! »
For the moment, the exact date of the opening of the house of the Véro & Louis Foundation. After a forced break from work during the COVID-19, the site reopened in May 2020. This first home, which will accommodate several adults with an autism spectrum disorder, is located in Varennes.
