VMT installs anti-doping controls in different parts of the country – 102nine Periódico Digital de El Salvador territory of young adults

Starting this Friday morning, the Anti-Doping Technical Medical Unit of the Vice Ministry of Transportation deployed anti-doping controls in different parts of San Salvador and the country, to detect dangerous drivers through alcohol tests.

For his part, the director of Land Transportation, Ismael Flores, supervised different vehicle control devices located in different parts of the country, as well as the general director of Transit, Alfredo Alvayero, who supervised controls in the San Salvador Metropolitan Area.

The drivers underwent breathalyzer tests thanks to the staff of the Anti-Doping Technical Medical Unit, with the support of police officers.

These measures are intended to verify if they drive under the influence of intoxicating beverages.

“This type of controls and devices are part of the strategy that we implement as VMT, focused on complying with our National Road Safety Plan,” said the general director of Transit.
