World Championships: Australia wins women's 4×100 freestyle relay

Gwangju (South Korea) – Australia, titled in 2015 and 2nd in 2017, won Sunday the 4×100 freestyle women's swimming relay in front of the United States and Canada, in Gwangju (South Korea).


The Australian quartet Bronte Campbell, Brianna Throssell, Cate Campbell and Emma McKeon set a new world championship record in 3: 30.21, beating the 81/100 Americans and the Canadians by 1: 57/100, and failing at 16/100 of his world record set in April 2018.
