Young man burned alive; Four women arrested, including fiance

Cairo: Four women have been arrested for setting a young man on fire in Egypt. The murder took place in the fiance’s apartment in Cairo, Gulf News reported, citing local media. The murder was committed by the young man’s fiance and three friends.

The young man was constantly arguing and harassing her, which led to her murder. The two had an argument at their apartment in Cairo, after which the young woman sought the help of friends and the four of them poured petrol on the young man and set him on fire.

A friend of the slain youth informed the police. When police arrived at the scene, they found the young man’s burnt body. The body was handed over to the forensic department for examination. The four girls are in police custody. The investigation into the incident is in progress.
