Young PSV ran into a heavy defeat in the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday evening. The Eindhoven team lost 5-1 at FC Volendam. Young Ajax, which played with ten men for a long time, did win at home against Young AZ: 3-2.
Remarkably enough, it was still 0-0 at FC Volendam-Jong PSV halfway through. After the break, Boy Deul found the goal twice on behalf of the home team, for which the other hits were made by Francesco Antonucci, Samuele Mulattieri and Giannis Iatroudis. Mathias Kjolo saved the honor for the visitors.
For Young PSV it already meant the fourth loss of this season, while Volendam only booked its second victory of the season. Both teams can be found in the middle bracket.
Young Ajax ended up with ten men at Sportpark De Toekomst halfway through the first half after Victor Jensen had to leave with a red card due to after-kicking. At that moment it was already 1-1 due to hits from Peer Koopmeiners (0-1) and Enric Llansana.
Brian Brobbey helped the home team to take a lead just before half-time and shortly after the break he made it 3-1 from an easy penalty kick. Then Richonell Margaret scored the connection goal and three minutes before the end, substitute Tijmen Wildeboer seemed to make it 3-3. His volley, however, ended up on the post, allowing Young Ajax to win for the third time in seven games.

Excelsior and NEC win
Excelsior also booked its third victory of the season. The team from Rotterdam defeated MVV Maastricht 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Julian Baas and Elías Már Ómarsson. They climb to eighth place.
At Sportpark Zoudenbalch, NEC was able to take advantage of a long-term surplus situation. The Nijmegen team were 1-4 too strong for Jong FC Utrecht, which had to play with ten men for over an hour due to a red card for Sylian Mokono.
The exclusion of Mokono, who had to leave after two yellow cards, was due to goals from Hicham Acheffay (1-0) and Jonathan Okita 1-1. After the break, Bart van Rooij, Souffian El Karouani and Terell Ondaan helped the visitors to a big victory.
