The Egyptian director, Mohamed Sami, was keen to send a letter of thanks to the United Arab Emirates, after he and his wife, Egyptian actress Mai Omar, obtained the golden residency in the Emirates.
Mohammed Sami shared with his followers, via “Instagram”, a picture of the Emirate of Dubai, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and the UAE’s constant support for artists and creators, in addition to Interest in the development of Arab art and its global spread.
The publication was accompanied by the following comment: “All thanks and respect to the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for granting me golden residency in the United Arab Emirates, and for the constant support of creators and people of art, and for the interest in the development of Arab art and its global spread. Greetings. From my heart to this great, beautiful country, always in development, prosperity and safety, and my great country Egypt.”
It is noteworthy that the last work of the Egyptian director, Mohamed Sami, was the series “The Seed of the Strangers”, which was shown last Ramadan, and achieved great success, and co-starred with his wife Mai Omar, and the two stars Ahmed El Sakka, Amir Karara and a number of Egyptian drama stars.
He also directed the video clip of the Egyptian star, Mohamed Ramadan, entitled “Thabit”, which Ramadan launched 5 days ago and achieved more than 5 million views on YouTube.
As for the Egyptian artist, Mai Omar, she was also keen to send a letter of thanks to the Emirates after granting her the golden residency, and she published a picture of the Emirate of Dubai through her account on “Instagram”, and commented: “Thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for granting me the golden residency in the UAE. And special thanks to the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority for its permanent support for artists and creators. May God protect the UAE government and people.”
The series “The Offspring of the Strangers” is the last work in which the Egyptian actress participated, in which she embodied the role of “Jalila”, as she had previously embodied the starring role in the series “Luel”, with the participation of the Egyptian star Ahmed Zaher.
