Zamalek management’s first decision after losing its team by three to Esperance

The temporary management committee of Zamalek, headed by Emad Abdel Aziz, settled on the first decision after the team lost to its host Esperance Tunisia (1-3), yesterday, Saturday, in the group stage of the African Champions League.

The “kooora” sports website, quoting a responsible source in the Egyptian team’s mission in Tunisia, said that Abdel Aziz decided to impose financial fines on the players, due to the defeat that held Zamalek’s position in the tournament.

The provisional committee announced that it was in permanent session in order to correct the course of the team and study the situation in all its aspects.

With this loss, Zamalek stuck at two points, in third place in the third group standings, 5 points behind leaders Esperance, 3 points ahead of runners-up Mouloudia Algeria.
