Zoom surfs on its success and invents an ecosystem with OnZoom and Zapps

Who hasn’t used Zoom during containment? So much so that the media ended up talking about the “zoom aperitifs”, notably made by the confined French. In the midst of the coronavirus wave and as teleworking tends to become the new standard, the video calling and videoconferencing solution took advantage of the Zoomtopia annual conference to unveil the first facets of its ecosystem dedicated to entrepreneurs and content creators.
“We have the necessary platform to meet the needs of the world today and tomorrow”, said Eric Yuan, founder of Zoom. He thus announced the launch of OnZoom, a new market for events. Indeed, companies will soon be able to sell virtual tickets for these video events, and be paid via PayPal initially, the platform also natively managing the management of donations.
