Breaking News: Derailment of Passenger Train Between Tsareva Livada and Gabrovo
Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) has confirmed the derailment of a passenger train traveling between Tsareva Livada and Gabrovo. The incident occurred around 18:40, shortly after the train departed from Tsareva Livada station.
The Incident
The train went off the tracks due to a fall of rocks on the line, as confirmed by BDZ. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or damages. All passengers were safely transported to Gabrovo by bus.
Subsequent Actions
Currently, efforts are underway to move an electric locomotive and clear the track. Further details will be provided as they become available.
