Oudenbosch Houses Evacuated After Saturday Night Blaze
Three homes along Professor Mulderslaan in Oudenbosch were evacuated on Saturday evening due to a significant fire that broke out around 9 PM and escalated by approximately 9:30 PM. The blaze started in the roof of one of the houses and quickly spread. Residents from the evacuated homes were safely accommodated, without any injuries reported.
The fire department faced considerable challenges in bringing the flames under control, eventually deploying a high ladder outfit to assist in extinguishing the fire. The intense blaze necessitated the closure of the street to vehicular traffic. The Veiligheidsregio announced that the fire department would continue their efforts well into the early hours of Sunday, as the fire proved challenging to contain.
As of now, no further information has been provided regarding the cause of the fire or any damage assessments. More updates will follow as the situation unfolds.
