"Russian Occupying Forces Sustain Heavy Losses in Southern Ukraine Push"
In the 1035th day of the full-scale war, Russia’s invading forces are facing catastrophic losses in their attempts to storm Ukraine’s southern regions. The partisan movement "Atesh" reports that the most severe situation is unfolding within the ranks of the 70th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces, leading to a surge in appeals from occupiers due to incompetent commanders and reckless tactics.
"The recent attempt to storm the right bank ended in a disaster," reported a "Atesh" agent. " Whole platoons didn’t return, severely undermining the morale of the soldiers. Despite this, the military leadership continues to send their people to certain death, in search of a more advantageous position for the next assault."
Earlier, a representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Sergei Bratchuk, noted that while the occupiers are not yet capable of launching a full-scale offensive in Kherson, they consistently attempt to seize the islands of the Dnieper River. This is not the first such attempt, with previous assaults having been repelled by Ukrainian forces.
On December 20, 2022, Russian occupying forces launched a massive artillery strike on Kherson, followed by an attempted infiltration of sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the city. The city has since been liberated, but the regime continues to target civilian areas, causing loss of life and destroying vital infrastructure.
As the war enters its third year, the Russian invaders seem determined to press ahead with their genocidal campaign, despite suffering colossal losses and facing an increasingly united and resilient Ukrainian resistance.
