Russian Forces Strike Dnipropetrovsk Region, Crippeling Residential Building
In a Tuesday afternoon attack, Russia launched a rocket strike on Kryvyi Rih, a city in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The 4-story residential building sustained significant damage.
Currently, reports indicate one fatality and 15 injuries, with four individuals in critical condition. Medics fought valiantly to revive a man extracted from the rubble, but their efforts proved futile, according to regional chief Sergey Lysak in a Telegram update. Rescue efforts continue as more people may still be trapped under the debris. Among the injured is a 16-year-old girl.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation. Various Ukrainian and Russian sources, citing preliminary information, suggest the strike was carried out using an "Iskander-M" missile. However, Russian military officials have yet to comment on the incident.
