KPK to Summon Kalimantan Barat‘s BPJN Chief After Unreported Assets in LHKPN
Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced that Dedy Mandarsyah, the head of the Bali Post Joint Task Force (BPJN) in Kalimantan Barat, has not reported several of his assets in his LHKPN (Wealth Report). The KPK will summon Dedy for further investigation.
KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Pahala Nainggolan, confirmed this on Friday, December 27, 2024. "Some assets have not been reported, so we will proceed with an in-depth investigation," he said. Pahala did not specify when Dedy will be summoned, but he confirmed that the analysis of Dedy’s LHKPN has been completed.
Previously, KPK had inspected Dedy’s LHKPN following the viral circulation of information about assets owned by Dedy that were not recorded in his LHKPN. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the inspection is part of the process of checking LHKPN in the context of preventing corruption.
Dedy is known to be the father of a student named Lady at Sriwijaya University (Unsri) in Palembang, who recently went viral due to complaints about the execution of shift duties at a hospital in Palembang, set by a group led by a driver named Luthfi.
In several previous cases, KPK has also investigated LHKPN after cases went viral on social media. One such case was against Rafael Alun, following allegations of violence by his son, Mario Dandy, against David Ozora. Other cases include the corruption of former Head of Customs Makassar, Andhi Pramono, and former Head of Customs DIY, Eko Darmanto, which were initially uncovered through the inspection of their LHKPN.
