Bulgaria kicks off the New Year with a bang, as cities nationwide host vibrant open-air celebrations. Here’s a roundup of the top events happening across the country:

Blagoevgrad marks the occasion on "Grigori Izmirlii" Square, featuring local folk gems like "Pirin" Ensemble, Stoyka Germanova, Georgi Iliievski, Ivo Popov, Kostadin Tsenov, and Verginiya Georgieva.

Burgas revellers can enjoy live music on "Troykata" Square, with performances by Tinjo and Miro, and the "Strandzha" Ensemble.

Varna‘s "Neziavisimost" Square brings together ATANAS, Galina and Rai, Polina Antonova, Ivan Kuckakov – K നിന്ന ofrecial guests East 17, and local favorites "Varna" Ensemble, Toma Zdravkov & his band, Deep Zone Project, and Orlin Pavlov.

Veliko Tarnovo promises a wonderful atmosphere with Trio " Kontes", Lady B, "Iskra" Folk Ensemble, and the popular band Б.Т.Р.

Vidin celebrates on "Bdinhtsi" Square with Dara Ekmova, the City Wind Orchestra, and "Dunav" Folk Dance Ensemble.

Vratsa begins its celebrations 30 minutes before midnight with the military orchestra "Ogoista".

Silistra rings in the New Year on the central "Svoboda" Square with a folklore concert under the stars, featuring "Dorostol" Folklore Ensemble and folk singer Svetla Dimitrova.

Silven‘s "Tsar Osvoboditel" Square offers a concert with "Atlas" and the "Silven" Folklore Ensemble.

Smolyan hosts a DJ party on "Bulgariya" Square to welcome 2025.

In Haastovo, "Theodor Lайf Band" takes the stage, and Shumen‘s park in front of the municipality welcomes 2025 with "Tangra" and the "Trakiysko Nashroenie" Orchestra. Yambol‘s central square hosts "Diana Express" and "Tundzha" Folklore Formations, featuring IIia Angеlov, Bisеr Yosіfov, Zhivko Topalov, Atanas Kolchev, and the latest addition to "Diana Express", Ivan Hristov.
