Title: Tragic Vaping Incident: 14-Year-Old Dies in Pleevan Block Party

Preiminary chemical analysis of the vape pen found with the teenager who fell to his death from a Pleevan block has revealed the presence of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (marijuana-4080556″ title=”Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol: What to Know About THC – Verywell Mind”>THC), the psychoactive compound found in marijuana. Regional prosecutor Vladimir Nikolov made this announcement during a press briefing.

"THC is a cannabinoid present in marijuana. This means the vape pen potentially contained a high-risk narcotic substance, banned under Bulgarian law," Nikolov explained.

Around 7 PM, a group of 14-year-olds, including 3 boys and 3 girls, gathered on the rooftop of a building. They decided to try an electronic cigarette, with each taking a puff except for the boy who took a larger amount. This did not agree with him, causing anxiety and restlessness. He tried to leave through the stairway, accompanied by one of the girls. On the 7th floor, where a window was open, the boy leaned out and fell.

The other children were shocked and immediately called for an ambulance, but unfortunately, the boy succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.

Nikolov revealed that a toxicological examination would be conducted to ascertain the exact effects of the vape on the deceased and its influence on his behavior.

"There are ongoing investigations into how the group obtained this vape pen," Nikolov added. "A signal has been sent to the Customs Agency to check if such vape pens are indeed present in commercial distribution."
