Teen Robbed and Threatened by Masked Youths at Alkmaar Noord Station
A 16-year-old boy found himself in a terrifying situation last evening around 10 PM on the platform of NS Station Alkmaar Noord. While waiting for his train, he was approached by two young individuals wearing bivouac hats pulled down over their faces. One of them brandished a knife, threatening to stab the teenager.
The assailants demanded his jacket, which they then took and fled the platform and the station. Despite being advised not to resist by police, the victim didn’t let the matter rest. He quickly alerted a nearby woman to call the police and sprinted after the suspects, managing to provide crucial information about their direction of escape.
Minutes later, police apprehended two suspects on Marsdiepstraat. The duo, both residents of Alkmaar aged 17 and 20, were still in possession of the victim’s jacket, the knife, and the bivouac hats. The 17-year-old was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
The victim has since filed a complaint, and both suspects are in custody awaiting immediate interrogation.
