Headline: Honorer BKN without PPPK 2024 Phase 1 Formasi Could Still Become PPPK Part-Time

GORONTALO – The Gorontalo Provincial Civil Service Board (BKD) has clarified that honorers who have participated in the selection process for Potential Civil Servants (CPNS) and PPPK phase 1 cannot take part in government servant selections with employment contracts or PPPK 2024 phase 2.
Kepala BKD Provinsi Gorontalo Rifli Katili broke the news in Gorontalo on Wednesday, January 8, noting that the central government is committed to resolving the honorer issue in local government institutions. This aligns with Law Number 20 of 2023 on Civil Servants (ASN), which mandates that from 2024, there will only be two types of personnel in government institutions: PNS and PPPK.
To implement this directive, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini, and Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Zudan Arif Fakhrulloh convened a coordination meeting with regional heads across Indonesia via Zoom.
The discussion centered around the fate of 2,175,033 honorers in local governments. Both the Ministry of Home Affairs and the PANRB encourage regional governments to expedite the transition of honorers to full-time and part-time PPPK contracts.
In Gorontalo, Rifli reported that there are 2,662 honorers employed by the provincial government. Some have already participated in the PPPK and CPNS 2024 selection process, while others are set to participate in the ongoing PPPK 2024 phase 2 selection.
Important to note: Honorer database BKN personnel without PPPK 2024 phase 1 forma will have the opportunity to become PPPK part-time.
