Vera, formerly of Gorthaganny, Castlerea, and residing in Glencarra, Knock, Co Mayo, and Lisacul, Castlerea, Co Roscommon, passed away peacefully in Ave Maria Nursing Home, Tooreen, surrounded by family.
Remembering Vera
Vera was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brother, Tony. She is deeply mourned by her son, Gerard, and daughter, Miriam. Her legacy extends to her grandchildren, Gary, Anthony, Cathal, and Fintan, as well as her daughter-in-law, Geraldine, son-in-law, Martin, and granddaughter-in-law, Aideen.
Also mourning her loss are Vera’s sister, Ita, brother Hauley, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Vera will be reposing in Gavin’s Funeral Home, Ballyhaunis, on Friday evening from 5 o’clock, with removal at 7 o’clock to St. Mary’s Church, Gorthaganny. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:30, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
