Reno, Nev. – Cal State Fullerton’s track and field team concluded the first day of competition at the Nevada Invitational on Friday with a strong showing, securing nine podium finishes across both track and field events.

Record-Breaking Performances

The Titans’ distance medley relay teams were particularly successful, each claiming first place and setting new program records. The men’s team, comprised of JT McCoy, Parker Harrison, Kofi Rossi, and Luke Hitchcock, finished with a time of 9:59.89, surpassing last year’s record of 10:00.42. Jocelyn Alexander and Alex Sheldon competed in the women’s weight throw, recording throws of 15.13m and 14.24m, respectively.
