A resident of Hollymount, Co. Mayo, and formerly of Farmhill, Claremorris, has passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by family. The loss is being deeply felt by a wide circle of loved ones.
A Life Remembered
The family has announced the passing of Bernie Sheridan. She was predeceased by her parents, Bridie and Joe Vahey. She is survived by her husband, Tom, and daughters Vanessa, Melissa, and Bernadette, as well as son-in-law Sean.
Also mourning her loss are her sisters, Marion, Teresa, and Anne, along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 R3W8) on Sunday evening, January 25th, from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Following the Funeral Mass, burial will occur in Roundfort Cemetery.
For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Roundfort, Robeen and Carras Parish Facebook page, as well as on the K. The Sheridan Family has expressed gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Joseph’s Ward in both Galway University Hospital and Mayo University Hospital for their care and support during Bernie’s illness.
