Job Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle the full AP process, including invoice review for accuracy, matching with purchase orders or receivers, invoice coding, vendor account reconciliation, expense report processing, and weekly payment forecasting. The role likewise includes verifying invoice authorization and assisting with additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least three years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Preferred qualifications include experience in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with medium to large ERP systems, and solid general accounting knowledge. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are also desired.
An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is considered a plus. The ability to speak and write Japanese is also highly valued.
