Paris was seen wearing a Navajo-print fleece jacket, while Debbie sported a plaid hoodie in one selfie.
Another photo featured Paris in the same jacket with a baseball cap and Debbie in a cream-colored top.
Paris captioned the images simply with “Lately,” accompanied by a red heart emoji.
From Distance to “Adult Relationship”
Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe were married from 1996 to 1999 and share two children: Prince Jackson and Paris Jackson. Following their divorce, Rowe relinquished custody of the children.
Michael Jackson as well had a third son, Prince Michael Jackson II (Bigi), born via surrogate in 2002.
Paris reconnected with Debbie during her teenage years after her father’s death in 2009.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Paris described her relationship with her mother as “more of an adult relationship,” noting she had other maternal figures in her life, including her grandmother Katherine Jackson.
“By the time my mom came into my life, it wasn’t a ‘mommy’ thing,” Paris explained.
In 2021, Paris shared on “Red Table Talk” that she enjoyed discovering common interests with her mother, like a shared appreciation for country and folk music.
She described their connection as “chill,” and appreciated having her mother as a friend.
