Las Vegas’ Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino are extending a program offering Canadian visitors a favorable exchange rate through August 31. The “At Par” program, which treats the Canadian dollar at par with the U.S. Dollar, has already drawn over 15,000 visitors and generated more than 2,700 hotel room bookings in its first month.
The program’s benefits are expanding to include tickets for performances by Canadian DJ and producer Excision at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on April 24 and 25. Derek Stevens, owner and CEO of Circa, the D, Golden Gate and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, stated that the program has “created real momentum with our Canadian guests.”
Further bolstering the appeal for Canadian travelers, rock band Finger Eleven is scheduled to perform on Fremont Street Experience as part of the Downtown Rocks Summer Concert Series on June 27, coinciding with Canada Day. The full concert lineup is forthcoming.
Under the At Par program, Canadian guests receive $1 USD in value for every $1 CAD spent, regardless of the daily exchange rate. The promotion is available to all Canadian visitors, even those not staying at the participating hotels.
