A Return to Familiar Shores
Head coach Marcio Sicoli emphasized the significance of returning to Hawaii, noting the program’s historical ties to the islands and the many Waves players who hail from the state. “Pepperdine has a rich history with the islands,” Sicoli said. “Lots of great Waves have come from Hawaii over the years. It’s great for our team to be making a return visit after a year away.”
Recent Performance & Key Players
Pepperdine recently concluded a two-day stint at the Battle 4 L.A. Where they secured a sweep against CSUN before facing tough competition from USC, Long Beach State, and UCLA. Several Waves players contributed to the team’s success at the Battle 4 L.A., including Emma Eden, Michaela Cyrani, Gabbie Perez, Maddy Snow, Emi Erickson, Ginevra Merlini, Deanie Woodruff, and Emma Bubelis. First-year players Sonia Mancuso and Alice Jagielska also secured a victory against CSUN and earned a point against UCLA.
