This tax season, VITA Latino is offering a valuable service to the community: free tax preparation. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you can receive professional assistance completing your tax return, at no cost.
VITA Latino, in partnership with the IRS, is part of the Solid Finances Carolinas programs. These programs focus on educating and empowering the Latino community with financial literacy to improve economic opportunities.
Who Qualifies for Free Services?
To receive free tax preparation services, you must meet the following criteria:
- Have annual income of up to $67,000, or $134,000 if filing jointly.
- Possess a Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN (Form W-7).
- Present a valid photo identification.
