The Stray Cats have announced a 2026 US summer tour, marking a return to the road for the iconic rockabilly trio.
A Return Following Health Challenges
The announcement comes less than six months after the band cancelled their 2025 tour due to frontman Brian Setzer’s illness. Setzer had previously revealed a diagnosis of an autoimmune disease affecting his hands and ability to play guitar. However, Setzer stated he is now feeling “strong and healthy” and eager to perform again, noting, “There’s something about the unique sound of The Stray Cats that keeps drawing me in. The Gretsch guitar, the acoustic bass, and the stand-up drums still sound pure and fresh today. Come on out and have some fun with us this summer.”
The 2026 tour is scheduled to begin on July 24th in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will include performances in cities such as Phoenix, Arizona; Del Mar, California; and Kansas City, Missouri. The final scheduled concert will be on August 16th in Morristown, New Jersey.
Tickets will first be available through an artist pre-sale starting on Tuesday, March 10th at 10:00 a.m. Local time, accessible by signing up for the band’s fan club newsletter here. General public ticket sales will begin on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 a.m. Local time through Ticketmaster and the band’s official website.
