The 43rd edition of the International de Montgolfières de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is set to take flight this summer, boasting a diverse musical lineup alongside its famed hot air balloon displays. Festival organizers unveiled the full schedule on March 10th, promising a vibrant experience from August 7th to 16th, 2026.
A Musical Journey Through Genres
This year’s festival caters to a wide range of musical tastes. Country star Matt Lang will kick off the festivities on August 7th, sharing the stage with Trudy. The following evening, August 8th, will see the iconic punk rock band The Offspring take center stage, preceded by a performance from Les Vulgaires Machins.
Sunday, August 9th, will be an emotional night as Kaïn performs as part of their farewell tour, with support from Classe Moyenne. The festival pauses briefly before resuming on August 13th with Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project and Émile Bilodeau.
Indie rock fans will be delighted by Half Moon Run on August 14th, with Ariane Roy opening the show. Saturday, August 15th, promises a high-energy evening with Sean Paul, following sets by Ariane Moffatt and Lady Beats (a project featuring DJ Abeille and percussionist Mélissa Lavergne). Robert Robert will also perform a DJ set that evening.
