Duke and Duchess of Sussex Publicly Clash with Author Tom Bower
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have strongly criticized author Tom Bower and his new book “Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family”, reports The Guardian.
In the book, which will be published later this month, Bower claims that Queen Camilla told a friend that “Meghan has brainwashed Harry”.
The book also alleges that Prince William and Princess Catherine saw Meghan as a “threat”.
Harry and Meghan responded on Saturday with a public statement describing Bower’s “comments” as having “long crossed the line from criticism to fixation”.
– Here’s someone who has publicly said that “the survival of the monarchy depends on obliterating the Sussex family”, language which speaks for itself, the couple said in the statement according to The Guardian.
– He has made a career of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met. Those interested in facts will see differently, those seeking conspiracy theories and drama will know exactly where to discover him.
Bower has not yet commented on their statement.
