As Angers, France, heads towards the final hours of its municipal elections this Sunday, March 22, 2026, voter turnout is slightly lower than the first round. By 5:00 PM local time, 42.69% of eligible voters had cast their ballots, compared to 47.22% at the same time last week.

Nationally, turnout at 5:00 PM stands at 48%, a slight decrease from the previous Sunday’s 48.9%. Analysts estimate overall participation will reach 57% by 8:00 PM.
All 85 polling stations in Angers will close at 7:00 PM.
