Winona ISD announced Charles Moss as its new athletic director and head football coach on Thursday night.
A Broad Coaching Background
Moss arrives in Winona after serving as the defensive run game coordinator and defensive line coach for Tyler Legacy High School since 2020. Prior to that role, he was head football coach at Texas College from 2017 to 2019 and also served as Chair of the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Moss’s coaching career began as a graduate assistant at the University of New Mexico, following a playing career with the New Mexico Lobos. He later held head coaching positions at Capital High School in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and North Dallas High School.
