Michael McMorrow, also known as “Radharc,” passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026. He died at Sligo University Hospital while surrounded by his family.

Family and Community Loss

Mr. McMorrow is survived by his wife, Maureen, and his daughters, Emma (McCrory) and Stefanie (Melly). He also leaves behind sons-in-law Gareth and Gary, and his grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, and Danny.

He is further missed by his siblings—Dermot, Brenda (Morris), Jim, and Carmel (Clancy)—as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and various relatives and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his sister, Claire, and his parents, Bart and Beatrice.

Funeral and Reposing Schedule

Reposing will take place at his home (F91DX53) on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, from 4pm to 7pm on both days.

The removal to St Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac (F91Y068), is scheduled for Monday morning. A Requiem mass will be held at 12 noon, with burial to follow in Rathcormac cemetery.
