Police in Sukoharjo have uncovered the role of former artist Fabiola Elizabeth in an international scamming network operating in Solo Baru. According to officials from the Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng), Elizabeth was utilized to manipulate potential victims into participating in fraudulent cryptocurrency investments through personalized video calls.

Investigators revealed that Elizabeth’s primary function was to provide a sense of certainty to individuals who were hesitant about the investment opportunities presented by the group’s marketers.
Kombes Himawan Susanto Saragih, Director of Cyber Crime at Polda Jateng, explained that while marketers initially engaged victims, Elizabeth was brought in to “take over” when more persuasion was needed.
“Jadi model yang dapat kami amankan ini tugasnya adalah melayani video call sesuai dengan yang dikehendaki korban,” said Kombes Himawan Susanto Saragih.
Kabid Humas Polda Jateng, Kombes Artanto, further clarified that Elizabeth acted as a “girlfriend” during these video calls. He did not specify whether the content of these calls involved pornography.
