The fatal accident occurred at approximately 2:05 pm, according to local police reports. The victim was travelling southbound with two other riders before losing control of his machine and striking the back of the luxury MPV in the right lane. The vehicle was being driven by a 32-year-old Singaporean woman.
Two other riders sustained injuries during the incident. Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee stated that a 39-year-old Malaysian motorcyclist suffered a fractured right thigh, while a 57-year-old rider sustained minor injuries. Both wounded motorists were transported to Kulai Hospital for medical treatment.
