Martina McHale of Tumneenaun, Clonbur, County Galway, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, while under the care of the Galway Hospice. Formerly of Kilmaine, County Mayo, she is survived by her husband, Padraic, and their sons, Paul and Pat.
Funeral Arrangements and Memorial Services
The family has organized public and private observances for the coming days. Reposing is scheduled to take place at the Kilmaine Community Centre (F31 RC95) on Wednesday, August 5, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Following this, a private removal to the family home will occur.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 12 noon at St. Patrick’s Church in Kilmaine (F31 A348). Burial will follow in the New Cemetery, Kilmaine. Those unable to attend in person may view the service via a live stream provided on the Flanagan Funeral Directors Facebook page.
