According to the Ligová fotbalová asociace (LFA), professional Czech football league player Vasil Kušej of Liberec received a two-match suspension following a straight red card for a hard tackle against Teplice. Teammate Petr Hodouš was handed a one-match ban after a separate challenge in the same fixture, which ended in a 0-1 defeat for Liberec, as detailed in an official LFA press release.

Club executives also handed down financial penalties for fan misconduct during recent matches. According to the LFA, Sparta must pay 300.000 korun for crowd disturbances during an away match in Brno, while home side Zbrojovka zaplatí 150.000 korun.
“Házení pyrotechniky vnímáme jako jedno z nejzávažnějších provinění, protože takové jednání představuje mimořádné riziko zranění,” Matzner pointed out, noting that objects were intentionally thrown toward the pitch and forced the home goalkeeper to vacate his penalty area for safety reasons. Matzner warned that repeat offenses will trigger harsher sanctions.
