Most of these recent events remained shallow, with focal depths measuring under 20 kilometers, though intermediate and deep movements were also detected. The Red Sismológica de Colima noted that fifteen subsequent tremors hit the same coastal strip of Colima, though authorities confirmed no structural damage resulted from these moderate events.

Relatives of the missing pair are preparing to travel to South America to follow rescue efforts on the ground alongside local authorities and the Red Sismológica.
