Compact air purifiers designed for small spaces are entering the market as manufacturers look to balance filtration capacity with limited floor space, according to PT LG Electronics Indonesia. The company introduced the LG PuriCare™ AeroMini, measuring 36 centimeters in height and 25 centimeters in diameter, to address spatial constraints in modern homes without sacrificing multi-directional airflow performance.

Compact Dimensions for Space-Constrained Homes

According to PT LG Electronics Indonesia President Ha Sang-chul, space limitations heavily influence modern consumer electronics purchases. The newly launched LG PuriCare™ AeroMini addresses this challenge by featuring a cylindrical footprint that takes up minimal room in compact living environments.

“With ruang hunian yang semakin kompak, air purifier ini sengaja didesain agar tidak memakan banyak tempat sekaligus fleksibel untuk dipindah-pindahkan sesuai kebutuhan,” ujar Ha Sang-chul dalam keterangan tertulis kepada Kompas.com, Kamis (13/8/2026).

The device is approximately 37 percent smaller and 30 percent lower than the previously introduced LG PuriCare 360? Hit model. With these physical dimensions, the unit is intended for rooms up to 27 square meters. Users can place the device directly on the floor, on top of tables, or on shelving units without claiming significant living space. A white exterior finish allows the appliance to blend into various interior design aesthetics.

Multi-Stage Filtration and 360-Degree Air Circulation

Despite its smaller stature, the appliance retains a full multi-directional air purification system. According to product specifications provided by LG, the device pulls room air through intake points surrounding the entire body and the top section, then releases filtered air back out into multiple directions.

The internal setup relies on a three-layer filtration configuration comprising a Pre Filter, a HEPA Filter, and a Deodorizing Filter:

• Pre Filter: Captures larger dust particles.
• HEPA Filter: Targets fine dust and microscopic airborne particles.
• Deodorizing Filter: Reduces unpleasant odors and specific airborne pollutants.

LG states that this filtration array holds testing certification confirming its capacity to capture dust particles down to 0.01 micrometers in size. The system is also designed to eliminate floating bacteria, airborne viruses, and mold particles.

Quiet Operation and Smart Home Connectivity

Extended runtimes in bedrooms and home offices require low acoustic emissions. The LG PuriCare™ AeroMini operates at a noise level of 26 decibels (dB), according to company data.

Head of Product Marketing ES of LG Electronics Indonesia Satrio Purnomo noted that the low acoustic footprint ensures comfort during prolonged use in quiet zones.

“Pengoperasian nyaris tanpa bunyi inilah yang membuatnya tepat diletakkan di mana pun yang membutuhkan ketenangan, baik dari sisi tempat tidur maupun area bekerja di rumah yang membutuhkan konsentrasi,” ujar Satrio.

Users can manage device functions and monitor real-time air quality through the LG ThinQ™ smartphone application. Alternatively, physical air quality status is displayed directly on the hardware via a four-color LED indicator system. For physical portability, LG includes a leather handle accessory, alongside a plant pot attachment that allows the appliance to double as an interior decoration element.

Pricing and Market Availability

The LG PuriCare™ AeroMini is currently retailed at a price point around Rp 1 million, according to company distribution details. The unit is available across major electronics retail stores and online shopping platforms throughout Indonesia.

According to Satrio Purnomo, the launch bridges the gap between technical filtration demands and contemporary lifestyle preferences for compact interior accessories.

“Air purifier ini siap menjadi solusi pembersihan udara dengan teknologi teruji, sekaligus tambahan keindahan bagi interior hunian yang tepat bagi gaya hidup modern,” tutur Satrio.
