Laterna magika Returns with Water-Themed Site-Specific Production

The multimedia ensemble Laterna magika of the National Theatre returns to the festival for its fourth appearance with a site-specific piece named Voda (Water), directed by artistic director Radim Vizváry. According to festival materials, the performance combines non-verbal theatre, videomapping, acrobatics, and live singing with a musical score by Martin Hůla. The production treats water as the source of life, a bearer of memory, and an emotional landscape, drawing on the biological parallel that the Earth and human bodies are both composed of seventy percent water.

Real-Time Projections and Robotic Art Expand the Festival Footprint
