Production Shifts and Staff Changes for Season 2
According to Kadokawa, the second season of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian was originally slated to debut this year before being pushed back to 2027. Dōga Kōbō handles the animation production, introducing key directorial and script changes. Hiroshi Haraguchi, who directed the fourth episode of the first season, replaces Ryota Itoh as the director for the new season. Yuka Yamada takes over series scripts from Itoh, having previously written the script for episode six. Yūhei Murota returns to design characters, while Seong Min Kim steps in as assistant director after working as a storyboard artist and episode director on the first season. The upcoming episodes will adapt content continuing directly from the fourth volume of the light novel series.
