NEW YORK (AP) — Three brothers convicted of using their wealth and influence to drug and sexually assault dozens of women were each sentenced to 30 years in prison on Tuesday, according to HuffPost and Yahoo News. U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni imposed the sentences after a five-week trial in Manhattan, where 11 women testified about being drugged, raped, or sexually assaulted by Oren, Alon, and Tal Alexander over more than a decade.
Alexander Brothers Face Fines for Sex Trafficking
The brothers, aged 39 (twins Oren and Alon) and 40 (Tal), faced charges including sex trafficking, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, and aggravated sexual abuse. Each was ordered to pay at least $300,000 in fines, with Tal Alexander facing an additional $50,000 for producing child sexual abuse material. Oren Alexander was also fined $50,000 for sexually exploiting a minor. The sentences include 10 years of supervised release, according to The Epoch Times.
Victims’ Testimonies and Broader Impact
Survivors described the brothers’ actions as “monstrous” and eternity of terror.
Lindsey Acree, an artist and gallery owner, testified that Tal Alexander and another man raped her in 2011 after she consumed a drink that left her paralyzed. This has wasted my damn time. It’s wasted your time. It’s wasted everyone in this room’s time,
she told the court, according to HuffPost.
One victim, using the pseudonym “Katie Moore,” said the brothers reduced women to “nothing” and called them not untouchable.
Another described the Hamptons as a mansion of horror,
while a third noted that the assault “wasted” her “damn time.” Over 70 women have come forward with allegations since 2024, including claims of systematic rape and trafficking, as reported by The Miami Herald.

Brothers Deny Accusations of Drugging and Rape
The Alexander brothers denied all accusations, with Oren stating, My brothers and I have never drugged or raped anyone.
Tal Alexander claimed he never broke the law,
while Alon asserted that not a single woman has accused me of wrongdoing
in the eight years since his marriage. However, Judge Caproni criticized their claims, saying their assertion that marriage had changed them from sexual predators to model gentlemen
“rings hollow,” per Yahoo News.
Attorney Juda Engelmayer, representing the brothers, called the sentence extraordinarily severe
and suggested the case is far from over.
The brothers were arrested in December 2024 and held without bail, according to The Miami Herald.
Verdict Sends Message Against Sex Trafficking
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton called the verdict a message against sex trafficking, stating, New Yorkers want to bring an end to sex trafficking in all our communities.
The brothers’ case has drawn comparisons to high-profile sex crimes, with some survivors expressing hope that the sentence will “send a message” to others who exploit power and wealth, according to The Epoch Times.
