Alza has cut the price of its AlzaPower Ultimate X480 GaN charger to 419 CZK down from 649 CZK for Black Friday, according to retail data from Svět Androida. The 65W three-port charger is currently at its lowest price ever recorded by the price tracker HlídačShopů, marking a 230 CZK discount from its regular summer and autumn pricing.
AlzaPower Ultimate X480 Port Output and GaN Specifications
The charger features two USB-C ports capable of delivering up to 65W individually, alongside a single USB-A port that outputs up to 60W, as reported by Svět Androida. Built with gallium nitride (GaN) technology, the device weighs 117 grams and includes a built-in display showing real-time power output. Svět Androida noted that the package does not include a charging cable, requiring users to supply their own 60W-rated USB-C cord for laptop use.
Connecting Multiple Devices Triggers Temporary Power Resets
When multiple ports are in use simultaneously, power allocation shifts significantly. Alza states that connecting three devices directs 45W to the top USB-C port while the remaining 15W is split between the other two outputs. Svět Androida highlighted customer reports indicating that plugging in an additional device temporarily cuts power to all ports for a few seconds to renegotiate power delivery. While unnoticeable for smartphones, customer feedback cited by Svět Androida warns that this reset behavior causes permanent attachments like webcams or Raspberry Pi boards to reboot.
Buyers Praise Compact Build Despite Heat and Scratches
The charger holds a 4.5 out of 5-star rating on Alza based on 158 customer reviews, with an 84% recommendation rate and over 5,000 units sold, according to Svět Androida. Alza lists the current product reklamovanost (return/reclamations rate) at 0.32%. While buyers frequently praise the dim nighttime display and compact build, some user reviews cited by Svět Androida mention that the exterior grows hot under maximum load and the glossy finish scratches easily inside bags.
