FGCU Divers Set to Compete at NCAA Zone B Championships
Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) divers Alexandra Andueza and Bella Pfeil are preparing to compete at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships, hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, starting Sunday, March 8th and concluding Wednesday, March 11th. The competition will take place at Bauerle Pool inside Gabrielsen Natatorium.

The Zone B Championships will feature a strong lineup of teams, including Alabama, Auburn, Davidson, Duke, East Carolina, FAU, FIU, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), NC State, North Carolina, Queens, South Carolina, Tennessee, and UNC Wilmington. Andueza and Pfeil’s Event Schedule

The top 18 finishers in each preliminary round will advance to the finals. In the women’s events, 11 divers will qualify for the NCAA Championships on 1-meter, nine on 3-meter, and seven on platform. Divers who automatically qualify in one event may also add additional events to their NCAA program with top-12 finishes.
Andueza recently earned ASUN Diver of the Week honors on January 6, 2026, demonstrating her consistent performance throughout the season. She also achieved a zone-qualifying score of 286.65 in the 3m dive at the ASUN Championships on February 18, 2026.
