A resident of Ardcorkey, Mayo Abbey, and formerly of Rockfield, Turlough, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 24th, 2025, surrounded by family. The passing marks a period of mourning for those who knew her in the communities of Mayo Abbey, Claremorris, and Turlough.
A Life Remembered
She was predeceased by her parents, Aeneas and Margaret Mc Donnell. Her loss is deeply felt by her husband, Gerry, and her daughters, Mairead (Rogan) and Eimear. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen (Rockfield, Turlough), granddaughter Emily, son-in-law Stephen (Rogan), and future son-in-law Ciaran (Woods).
The family circle also includes numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends who will mourn her passing. Arrangements have been made for a Requiem Mass to be held at the Church Of Our Lady Queen Of Peace and St. Gerald, Mayo Abbey, on Sunday at 10:00 AM, following removal from her residence at 9:15 AM.
